Born and Raised in Queens, NY, DJ GETLIVE has been commanding the turntables all over NYC since 1999. From sneaking into clubs just to be able to dj since he was 16 years old to being able to rock clubs all over the country, DJ GETLIVE has earned his reputation as a Party Rocker and Crowd Motivator. With a very energetic style, which includes his eclectic song selection, turntablist skills, and mic presence, he has been able to play nationally in cities such as LA, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Boston, and internationally including in his home country of the Philippines, Germany, Switzerland, and in the Caribbean and Europe onboard Royal Caribbean Cruiselines as the Guest Celebrity DJ. His resume includes having won BET’s 106 & Park DJ Battle in 2004, constructing “creatively themed” mixtapes, and in 2008 having djed at Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennesee, Citysol Festival in NY, as well as dj-ing for the likes of DJ Clue, Meagan Good, Nick Cannon, Jim Jones, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Nick Cannon, Melissa Ford, Thomas Jones, Marshall Faulk, Darryl Strawberry, Joba Chamberlain, Peyton Manning, and Michael Jordan. He has also worked for such corporate clients as Nike, Mountain Dew, Hennessey, Stoli Vodka, Digiwaxx Media, Social Media, and Charity:Water.
Currently, he is the resident dj at one of NYC’s newest and hottest parties, HomeBase, and has been the resident dj of Taj Lounge, one of NYC’s premier clubs, where he is going on his second straight year, holding down the turntables every Saturday Night. In the last couple of months, he has been placed into rotation at Providence Atlantic City, and dj-ed in cities such as Zurich, Switzerland, Indianapolis for Dwight Freeney of the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa for Super Bowl Weekend, and Mount Snow, Vermont for the Winter Dew Tour. DJ GETLIVE has already made a name for himself in the Club Circuit, but this is only the beginning for this rising NYC sensation.
